[If something seems different about Quinn today, there is. She has a little patch on the side of her shorts, a little pink heart...and she sewed it on all by herself! It actually looks good, mainly because she had a lot of help, and she only stuck herself with the needle once! Hard work actually feels good, who would've figured.

She's walking around town, kinda showing off, with a major skip in her step. If she catches sight of you, prepare to be chatted up. Or, if you're a hot guy, flirted with. And feel free to chat up or flirt with her if you wish!]

Ah... a college? [He gets a little nervous at dating being brought up.] Let me address your concerns in order!

First! I am truly fascinated with youth, and that is because of everything I have learned from Gai-Sensei! Secondly, I do not see myself as old at all. I see myself as living in the springtime of youth! And as for my age... I can currently be considered to be 19! It has been two years since I first came here to Luceti. In a sense... I may be turning 20 in several months!

[She listens intently, nodding]

I see! This Gai sounds pretty colorful...just like you! [she laughs] So you are college-age, then. No wonder you seem so smart!

That's right! It's an honorable way of saying it. Gai-Sensei has taught me so much in my road to becoming a ninja!

He sounds like quite a guy...I don't remember the last time a teacher had that effect on me. [Well, she does. But he also broke her heart so that cancels it out in her book.]

He certainly is quite the guy! I am very sorry that you have not had a teacher like him. He can inspire anyone to make their dreams a reality through hard work!

I wish Lawndale had teachers like that! The closest we have is Mr. O'Neill with his new-age feelings stuff, but even he's a flake. [It's mainly through Daria that she's begun to realize the teachers' flaws but still] And don't get me started on our history teacher!

And because we didn't think we could handle it without our president. [They probably could have, though, and Sandi was just being selfish. She only had a cold and a zit!]

[He's mostly clueless and sometimes angry and pretty insecure] And it is, women spend a lot of time trying to hide wrinkles and laugh lines and men wear the dorkiest hairpieces to hide their baldness. Really? Even if such things are unyouthful... things like wrinkles and baldness should be worn with pride! You can still be youthful even with those features! They must have a lot to learn about the springtime of youth.

Tell me about it! I mean, makeup can hide any wrinkles or freckles, but some of the toupees these old guys were are hideous!
